  The staff in here are wonderful, I go often for bugs (which are healthy and always have a plentiful stock (unlike Pets at home which are mostly dead or out of stock). The staff here are so knowledgeable and friendly. The animals are so varied, snakes, chameleons, mini hedgehogs (❤️) tortoise etc etc, the place is always clean, bright and always welcoming. Love this place ❤️

  I've visited Exeter Exotics three times in the last couple of months as, at the time, I thought it was the only reptile supplies store in the area. Each time I've been greeted with cold, unhelpful staff who have belittled me when I've asked for help or information. There's never anybody on the shop floor, the cashiers are rude and have given husbandry information that might have killed my animal if I hadn't known better, just because they didn't want to issue a refund for an item I'd found out was unsuitable for it. I will not be going there again and would much rather make the trip further out of town for a shop that has a friendly atmosphere, won't put animals in danger to turn a quick buck, and isn't horribly overpriced. Their reptiles are well taken care of, yeah, but that's about the only positive this place has.
